George VI Farthings

With the very marginal exception of the 1938, none of these coins are difficult. The series is also completely devoid of varieties. Although the wren farthing is quite an attractive little coin, working one's way through this series is autistic completism at its most severe.

The only thing to change throughout the entire production run was the removal of the claim to be the Emperor of India in 1949.

In common with all George VI denominations, and as a result of Indian independence, IND:IMP is omitted from 1949 onward. Only the obverse inscription was altered.
